Winter type. Black skin with white tender flesh. Roots to 7" long with a pungent flavor suggesting that its Medieval growers preferred radishes with more character than today’s choices. Developed prior to 1400. Good keeper if stored in cool moist sand. 60 days. ~200 seeds per packet
